The Surf Lodge in Montauk has been prohibited by The New York State Liquor Authority and East Hampton Town from holding live outdoor musical performances after citing the establishment for numerous code violations including overcrowding.

Every weekend from Memorial Day through Labor Day, this trendy Montauk motel becomes the destination for bands worth driving three hours to see in concert.
